Tellabs CFO Roundabout Gets Another Spin
The networking company said Friday that it has appointed Larry Rieger to replace Tom Minichiello, who resigned to take the same position at Westell. Rieger comes from accounting firm Crowe Horwath LLP and Tellabs says in a statement that he has worked closely with the company for years.
Minichiello signed on as acting CFO in May and resigned on June 28. The previous CFO, Andrew B. Szafran, resigned on May 20. He had taken the position on April 17, 2012. The CFO roundabout was originally set in motion when Timothy Wiggins resigned to become CFO at DeVry in December 2011. He had held the CFO spot at Tellabs since 2003. — Dan Jones, Site Editor, Light Reading Mobile
