AMSTERDAM -- Eblana Photonics, a newly established provider of leading edge laser products to the telecommunications industry, has announced a new generation of transmitter source and high power pump lasers for optical communications. These initial products are derived from Eblana's proprietary technology platform that uniquely allows high volume manufacture of high performance laser components. Eblana's breakthrough will enable communication system designers to meet the ongoing demand for greater communications bandwidth, faster and more cost effectively. These new products will be unveiled this week in Amsterdam, at Europe's leading optical communications event, ECOC (European Conference on Optical Communications). Eblana Photonics was established earlier this year by James O'Gorman and John Hegarty who are both world-renowned authorities in the field of Laser Physics.
