Wireless Q2 Scorecard

3:00 PM -- Things are starting to look up for the big three wireless operators, AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T), Verizon Wireless , and Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S), as they wrap up the second quarter of the year. (See AT&T Reports Q2, Verizon Reports Q2, and Sprint Reports Q2.) Smartphone and data growth helped all three, although the benefits weren't shared equally.

See below for six key metrics with the winner in each starred. The race is quickly becoming neck-and-neck for VZW and AT&T, which together own more than 182 million wireless connections, while Sprint struggles to keep up.

Its a shame Sprint doesn't give data ARPU, would be a relevant metric here.
