YAKUM, Israel -- Metalink Ltd. (NASDAQ: MTLK - News), a global provider and developer of high-performance wireless and wireline broadband communication silicon solutions, today announced results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2006.

Financial Results
Revenues for the fourth quarter were $3.6 million compared to $4.2 million for the third quarter of 2006. Revenues for the fourth quarter of 2005 were $4.4 million. Net loss for the fourth quarter of 2006 was $3.9 million, or ($0.20) per share, same as the third quarter of 2006. Net loss for the fourth quarter of 2005 was $2.9 million, or ($0.15) per share. Net loss for the third and the fourth quarter of 2006 includes stock-based compensation expenses of $0.29 million and $0.3 million, respectively, recorded as a result of the adoption of SFAS 123®.
