It is a platform for manufacturers and dealers from around the world to offer their hardware, software, apps and full-package solutions relating to M2M communication. In future, Deutsche Telekom will also offer the requisite SIM cards and SIM chips via the M2M Marketplace. The Marketplace provides vendors with another attractive, global distribution channel for their M2M products in addition to their own sales channels. Interested customers can simply and conveniently compare offers on an international scale and cover their individual M2M needs from the broad range on offer or alternatively purchase a full-package solution.

During the launch phase vendors can offer their solutions free of charge with immediate effect until July 2, 2012. After that, the usual fees for online sales platforms will be chargeable, varying in accordance with the type of solution being sold. To begin with, the M2M Marketplace will be launched in English. Other languages are planned, as is expansion into the consumer market.
