Network attacks are getting increasingly sophisticated and preventing them is causing network teams to shift their resources and rethink their strategies.

As it's been said on Light Reading many times, security needs to be the job of everyone at a company, not just one specialized group. According to Network Instruments LLC , a unit of the Network and Service Enablement division of JDSU (Nasdaq: JDSU; Toronto: JDU), in its eighth State of the Network survey of network professionals, this mindset is starting to take hold. Network teams are taking a more comprehensive approach to security.
