Will XML Routing Kill IPv6?

Increasingly there are a number of companies offering XML routers that route packets at Layer 7 rather than at IP. With the exploding growth of service-oriented architectures (SOA), some speculate that XML routing with IPv4 within limited network domains will be the final nail in the coffin of IPv6. Clearly there remain lots of issues and concerns on how the end-to-end principle can be maintained at Layer 7, along with the manageability of routing tables based on XML lookups. But an interesting development nevertheless.
