MILFORD, N.H. -- Degree Controls, Inc. (degreeC), a leading designer and manufacturer of complete, customized thermal solutions for densely packed electronic arrays such as telecom switching gear, is pleased to announce a significant strengthening of its executive management.

In an innovative move, Rajesh Nair (the founder and CEO of degreeC) added a ready-made team of three top executives, turned over much of the operating management of the company to the new team, and changed his own role to Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. Nair said "Now we have a management team with the scope and depth to handle substantial internal growth and selected acquisitions as well as technology development."

Jag Sisodia was named President and CEO of degreeC, Eric Birch was appointed Executive VP, and Brian Pitzer was appointed Senior VP. Earl Pike continues as VP and Chief Financial Officer. The three newcomers had worked together for several years in a large global product testing firm and bring to degreeC a wide range of valuable and applicable experience, including marketing, operations, quality, human relations, finance, and acquisitions and mergers. All three executives have invested personally in the company.

In his first public statement since taking over as CEO, Jag Sisodia thanked all the degreeC employees for their perseverance in the difficult market environment of the past couple of years and said "We are very pleased to have joined degreeC and we're excited about the many opportunities for substantial near-term growth, not just in the company's traditional telecom market but in medical equipment and other electronic applications." He went on to say that the company would be expanding both its product line and its range of technical services on the way to becoming a focused "thermal-centric company providing complete solutions and one-stop shopping wherever there are thermal issues".
