Darwin's Tortoise

4:00 PM -- At Brisbane's Australia Zoo today, they're having a birthday party for Harriet, a 175-year-old giant tortoise who's now probably the oldest living animal on Earth.

Harriet was collected from the Galapagos Islands by none other than Charles Darwin, and she was one of the many subjects he observed in formulating his theory of evolution.

But here's the thing: He knew her as "Harry."

That's right, Mr. Natural Selection, with all his so-called "science," couldn't even figure out the sex of his own pet turtle. Which naturally leads one to ask: If he muffed that one, what else might he have gotten wrong?

The possibilities are pretty much endless.
