LYNGBY, Denmark -- Wise Venture and CAT Seed (Center for Advanced Technology) have together with a group of researchers from the Research Center COM at the Technical University of Denmark established a new Danish development company under the name of "Micro Managed Photons A/S" (MMP). During the next years MMP will commercialise a new and path-breaking technology that will make it possible to produce extremely small integrated optical components that can handle a very large quantity of information at an extremely competitive price. The MMP technology can reduce the present optical components with a factor 100 or more and can revolutionize efficiency, production and development of the optical systems that to an increasing extent constitute the heart of the matter in solutions within sectors like telecommunications, computer technology and sensors.
