The SG710 is powered by SG embedded Linux and provides multi-layer security including an ICSA-approved stateful inspection firewall, virtual private network (VPN) access (IPsec, L2TP and PPTP) that is VPNC conformant, and an intrusion detection system based on Snort, a popular intrusion detection system.
