CTIA 2010: Vegas Gadget Revue

LAS VEGAS -- International CTIA WIRELESS 2010 -- The High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) (Taiwan: 2498) EVO 4G WiMax phone for Sprint Corp. (NYSE: S) and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (Korea: SEC)'s first Long Term Evolution (LTE) phone stole the headlines at this year's show, but there were plenty more gadgets on display.

These include everything from the incredibly colorful Samsung Galaxy S Android phone to LG Electronics Inc. (London: LGLD; Korea: 6657.KS) 's solar and fuel cell-based eco-friendly prototypes. Click on the image below to see more:

By the way, we asked Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT) about the 700MHz LTE dongle in the slideshow. The company will allow that the "Band 13" device is intended for the US market but won't say whether it will end up as part of the Verizon Wireless LTE offering.
