Critical Telecom appoints Nancy Macartney as president and CEO

OTTAWA -- Critical Telecom Corp., developer of broadband enabling platforms for New Generation Access Networks, today announced that Nancy Macartney has been appointed President and CEO. In her new position, Nancy will also serve on the company's board of directors.

"Nancy brings more than 25 years of telecommunications experience to the company," said Critical Telecom's chairman of the board and investor Dr. Mark Janoska, General Partner, VenGrowth. "Nancy's business acumen and leadership skills, coupled with her worldwide experience in business operations will help Critical Telecom to further develop its strategic partnerships, broadening its customer base and expanding its presence into new markets and geographies."

Building upon the market momentum attained from the successful launch of GEminiT Ethernet Remote DSLAM, Macartney, in her new role as CEO, will focus on scaling the company's resources to meet the global demand for New Generation Consumer Broadband Networks.
