Corrigent Systems establishes subsidiary in Japan

TOKYO -- Corrigent Systems, a leading provider of Packet ADM (Add Drop Multiplexer) for next-generation transport networks, today announced the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary corporation in Japan to provide marketing and support services for partners and service provider customers. Corrigent Systems’ Packet ADM is deployed for advanced communications networks in Japan and the creation of this subsidiary corporation aligns with the resource growth in our Tokyo office. The CM-100 is used as the metro transport backbone network for consumer and corporate applications including data, voice and video services.

Headquartered in Minato-Ku, Tokyo, Corrigent Japan will focus on providing leading edge service, support and products for its customers leveraging our sales and lab facilities. Ehud Rokach, CEO of Corrigent Systems will also serve as President of Corrigent Japan.

Corrigent Japan has two major systems integrator partners that support the ongoing metro networks that are being built. Service providers are looking to suppliers that help them migrate from existing networks to the converged voice, video and data network of the future.
