STOCKHOLM -- Comlase (Stockholm, Sweden) has promoted Ulf Tingström to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In his expanded role, Tingström will hold responsibility for all the company’s marketing and sales efforts, as well as direct the product management team. Tingström will also work closely with Comlase CEO Alfred Feitisch in the area of new business development.

Tingström joined Comlase as Director of Marketing and Sales in 2004. Over the 15 years prior to that, he held a variety of marketing positions in photonics companies, including Melles Griot, ADC Photonics, Altitun and Future Instrument Fiber Optics.
