Enabled by CoAdna Gen-2 LightFlow™ technology platform, the Twin 1xN WSS supports flexible bandwidth and route/select architecture for next generation coherent metro networks. CoAdna’s extended ROADM product portfolio including Twin 1xN series will be showcased at CoAdna’s booth # 2009 during OFC/NFOEC 2013 in Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim, CA, 19-21 March 2013.With the Next-Gen ROADM systems that can support data rates beyond 100Gbps being deployed in the long-haul core networks starting this year, ROADM systems for coherent metro networks is at the planning stage. Compared to optical-long haul network, metro network will deploy in much larger scale and demand higher flexibility and lower cost. CoAdna’s Twin 1xN WSS series is tailored for the next-gen coherent metro network applications. It is powered by Gen-2 LightFlowTM switch engine, featured with Flexband capability at 12.5GHz granularity, and packed in the CoAdna standard packaging form with compatible electrical and software interfaces.
