Lyatiss introduces CloudWeaver FlowMapper for cloud infrastructure performance control
June 26, 2013
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Lyatiss (http://www.lyatiss.com/), a software company providing application defined networking (ADN) solutions for the cloud, today introduced FlowMapper, an innovative network monitoring sensor technology that provides flow intelligence for application administrators and DevOps teams. It delivers key insights into bandwidth and latency patterns and detects bottlenecks before they impact application performance. FlowMapper (http://lyatiss.com/cloudweaver-flowmapper/) is the newest product from the Lyatiss CloudWeaver platform, which provides deep visibility and intuitive orchestration of cloud network resources with other services to deliver greater cloud infrastructure control and performance. Over the past quarter, Lyatiss has seen its CloudWeaver user base grow more than 400 percent, as customers adopt ADN solutions to improve control over mission-critical cloud applications.
"As organizations increasingly rely on the cloud to roll out their business applications, the demand for predictable performance rises significantly," said Pascale Vicat-Blanc, CEO of Lyatiss. "CloudWeaver FlowMapper helps solve the complex problems of diagnosing and preventing latency and bottleneck issues that impact overall application response time. FlowMapper enables network sensors to exploit the intelligence of the transport layer, which amplifies the work of protocols and the operating system without adding extraneous processing demands or requiring data transmission that could further hamper performance."
