Cloud Platforms & Services: 101


Once an enterprise-only concern, cloud has made its way into the heart of service provider operations and is a key part of the service provider's transformation to virtualized, all-IP networks. However, many service providers are finding themselves ill-equipped to handle the transformation on all fronts -- including skillsets and culture. This introductory course will cover all the important aspects of transforming to cloud-based networks and services, including what it means for service providers, why it's important, how it's impacting the industry, the challenges and benefits and more. This course prepares students for subsequent courses on cloud platforms and services.
