The Bay Area is the company’s most important geographic market, and the opening of an office here was in response to requests from strategic partners and early adopters of the company’s technology. Calise has nearly 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry working for various companies including Intel, Benchmarq Microelectronics (TI), Catalyst Semiconductor, Palmchip, and Improv Systems. He has successfully grown global sales management and field applications organizations and has been instrumental in creating key semiconductor technology partnership agreements. Calise has spent the last five years in the semiconductor intellectual property (SIP) industry as vice president worldwide sales for Improv Systems and Palmchip Corp.
