PENNINGTON, N.J. -- Cercis, Inc. 520DV3-Series 850/1310nm VCSEL/Laser Light Sources are dual wavelength with –5 dBm (or higher) output. The 530DV3-Series combines an 850 nm VCSEL with a 1300 nm LED with output of –5 dBm (VCSEL) and –17 dBm (LED). Used for testing multimode 50/125 or 62.5/125 fibers or components, the output of either light source is Continuous Wave (CW) or may be modulated at standard 270, 1000, or 2000 Hz rates,. LEDs illuminate when either the VCSEL or Laser/LED is activated; LEDs blink during modulation. Either light source is offered with click-on/click-off interchangeable FC, ST, or SC adaptors, or a fixed FC optical port. A dual optical output is standard; a single optical output is available. Optical output of each light source is tested to NIST-traceable standards. The instruments are housed within a compact, rugged 3X5X1” thermoplastic case, with protective rubber holster and tethered dust cap. Additionally, all light sources include an AC port as well as internal 9V battery.
