Carrier1 International S.A. (Neuer Markt: CJN; NASDAQ: CONE), a Pan-European provider of end-to-end Internet, voice, bandwidth, data center and access solutions and Net Insight (SX: NETI B), a vendor of advanced real-time broadband technology, have today signed an agreement to let their joint venture, ProStream, become a fully integrated business unit of Carrier1.

ProStream was formed to address the market for professional video services to TV- and production companies around Europe. Since the introduction of ProStream in February 2001, the company was owned 60 percent by Carrier1 and 40 percent by Net Insight. Carrier1 will now have full responsibility for ProStream's operations, and will integrate the company into its existing organization. The latest ProStream solutions based on Carrier1's pan-European fibre network and Net Insight's DTM technology can be seen at the IBC 2001 in Amsterdam 14-18 September in hall 4, stand 340.
