This week saw the Open Networking Summit grow to 1,500 people from just 400 in 2011, turning what had been an academic-community gathering into a full-blown commercial conference. Here's our photo tour of the event, held in Santa Clara, Calif. We start with the set of SDN Idol, a best-of-show contest where attendees voted on the winner by cellphone. More about that later.
