Most popular Interesting note from the panel that was cut from the story: Facebook and Gmail are two of the top applications being used in enterprises, regardless of the vertical industry, Irwin said.

That's Not something I would have guessed, but it's not surprising either. Facebook and Gmail are extremely common applications, while more businesslike applications like Salesforce, for example, and even Office 365 are used by only a subset of business users.

So the fact that Facebook and Gmail are very common doesn't mean that everybody at work is goofing off all the time, but rather that when they do goof off, they're very likely to hit Facebook, and they use a variety of different applications for work, making any individual work application less popular than Facebook.
