Leading Lights Happy Hour

NEW YORK -- Ethernet & SDN Expo -- Hundreds of communications executives joined Light Reading editors and Heavy Reading analysts at The OUT hotel in New York City Tuesday evening for the Leading Lights awards dinner. (See Light Reading Announces 2013 Leading Lights Winners.)

And even though the Interop and Ethernet & SDN Expo events opened their doors early Wednesday morning, everyone was taking full advantage of the open bar during the cocktail hour preceding the dinner and awards.

And as you can see from the following pictures, there was plenty of merry-making before the Leading Lights winners were revealed and humanoid chickens, lobsters, and hula-hoopers took over the room. (Yes, humanoid chickens...)

There are many more photos to come, but to get started, here are some of our happy hour snaps.

Re: Names with faces Quite literally, eh? It was quite an evening. Don't think they could've packed any more people in there. We might have to move the party to the Javits Center next year. Uh, maybe not.

Names with faces The event was a ton of fun! We had such a great turnout, and it was great to meet everyone. That said, if I got any names wrong or didn't indentify your colleagues, please let me know, and I'll update the slides. :)
