PRAGUE, Czech Republic -- O2 TV fixed-line digital television is continuing to attract greater customer interest. As Telefónica O2 Czech Republic statistics confirm, the number of O2 TV subscribers has exceeded 60,000. O2 TV digital television offers 50 television channels with digital quality image and sound, as well as hundreds of films, documentaries, 3D films, serials, and fairy tales. "We are very pleased with the continuously increasing customer interest in the O2 TV service. A huge selection of channels and films and, primarily, our efforts to continuously improve the quality of our services have contributed to an extraordinary growth in demand. Thanks to O2 TV viewers have access to live broadcasts of O2 Extraliga matches with sounds coming directly from the stadiums. Since September, Telefónica O2 has had access to the catalogues of two of Hollywood's biggest studios: Warner Brothers and The Walt Disney Company. Every year, the films offered in the Videotéka (Video Library) service will thus grow by 60 titles that both studios are presenting in cinemas or through video distribution in the Czech Republic. In November and December 2007 customers will be able to watch such blockbusters as the historic film 300, action films Spider-Man 3 and DéjáVu, the animated family film Meet the Robinsons, and a cinematic delicacy in the form of the film The Lives of Others, this year' s winner of the Oscar award for Best Foreign Language Film. "By pressing one button on their remote controls, O2 TV customers have also been able to watch such hits as Toy Story, Pocahontas, 102 Dalmatians, and Gone in 60 Seconds since September 2007. Customers can get all the information they need about TV channels, broadcasts from the TV Archive, and new releases in the Videotéka on the O2 Info information channel, which was launched in October,"says MartinŽabka, Spokesman, Telefónica O2 Czech Republic.

Christmas with O2 TV

Telefónica O2 has prepared an exciting Christmas offer for customers. When they order O2 TV digital television by December 31, 2007, they get a 50% discount off the regular monthly fee for the first three months of using any of the basic channel packages - O2 TV Zábava, O2 TV Kino, or O2 TV Sport.
