BT announces agreement with Channel 4 to make the broadcaster’s programming available on-demand on BT Vision

LONDON -- BT today announced a significant agreement with Channel 4 to make the broadcaster’s programming available on-demand on BT Vision, its next-generation television service. From later this year BT Vision customers will be able to catch up on the Channel 4 schedule and watch some of the channel’s most popular TV programming through Channel 4’s on demand service, 4oD.

At launch, BT Vision customers will have on-demand access to titles from the Channel 4 archive, via 4oD, including Shameless, Queer As Folk, Jamie’s School Dinners and Father Ted. BT will also provide on-demand access to movies from Channel 4’s film channel, Film4, via Film4oD. At launch, titles will include favourites such as: East is East, Room With A View and Secrets and Lies.

Viewers will also be able to catch-up on popular Channel 4 titles from the previous eight days broadcast schedule using BT Vision’s catch-up TV service.
