BRUSSELS -- Belgacom TV is enhancing its video-on-demand offering thanks to a partnership concluded withthree of the largest Hollywood studios. From 15 December, Belgacom TV subscribers will haveaccess to a catalog of more than 300 films.Eager to anticipate the requests of Belgian television viewers, Belgacom revolutionized the audiovisuallandscape in Belgium by launching Belgacom TV last June. After just five months of existence, Belgacom TV nowhas over 20,000 subscribers and offers a bouquet of more than 60 channels, the possibility of watching allJupiler League football matches, and video on demand (VOD), all in digital quality.

Belgacom TV is enhancing its video-on-demand offering still further, thanks to a partnership concluded recentlywith three of the largest Hollywood studios (Dreamworks, Paramount and Warner Bros). From 15 December,Belgacom TV subscribers will have access to a catalog of more than 300 films, including Ocean’s Twelve, FindingNeverland and Constantine. The films cost between EUR 2 and EUR 3.5 to rent. The viewer can watch a rentedfilm as many times as he/she wants in a 24-hour period, while benefiting from DVD-style quality andconvenience, top-notch sound and image quality and, of course, pause, fast forward and fast rewind functions.But the video-on-demand offering does not stop there: Belgacom TV subscribers will also be able to watchconcerts on demand. Of these, five concerts headlined by Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi and Moby, will be free ofcharge for four months.

Belgacom TV has not forgotten children either, since the VOD catalog already contains more than 100 cartoons.This catalog will grow even larger in the future, since we are continuing to negotiate with other studios and willsoon be providing our customers with access to numerous TV archives, in partnership with TV channels.By enlarging its video-on-demand catalog and providing customers with an attractive television packagecombining quality and flexibility, Belgacom TV proves once again that its customers are its main priority.
