AT&T rolls out U-verse in the Los Angeles area

LOS ANGELES -- A new world of communicationsand entertainment is now available to residents in the Los Angeles area.AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced the launch of AT&T U-verse(SM), whichutilizes AT&T's new fiber-rich network to offer cutting-edge television andhigh speed Internet services. AT&T is the only national provider to offer a100 percent Internet Protocol (IP)-based television service, making U-verseTV "cooler than cable" as one of the most robust and feature-rich servicesavailable today.

AT&T U-verse services are initially available in parts of the LosAngeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana metropolitan statistical area (MSA), includingAltadena, Anaheim, Burbank, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Glendale, LagunaNiguel, Orange County, Santa Ana, Santa Clarita, and Tustin. AT&T willcontinue to increase availability throughout the area on an ongoing basis.

AT&T U-verse offers customers a combination of next-generation digitaltelevision -- including access to more than 25 High Definition (HD) channels-- and high speed Internet access. The award-winning AT&T U-verse TVincludes cutting-edge features that are unmatched in the market, while thenew U-verse enabled AT&T Yahoo!(R) High Speed Internet builds on AT&T'sposition as the nation's leading provider of broadband DSL.
