Time Warner, LuxN Ink DWDM Deal

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- LuxN, Inc. and Time Warner Telecom Inc. (Nasdaq:TWTC), today announced a multi-year contract for Time Warner Telecom to purchase LuxN's WavSystem(TM) optical dense wave division-multiplexing (DWDM) equipment. Time Warner Telecom, a provider of metro area optical broadband networks and high-bandwidth transport services has chosen LuxN's WavSystem to provide metro DWDM services in markets across the United States. Time Warner Telecom has already begun deployment of LuxN equipment in New York City and Columbus, Ohio.

Time Warner Telecom is also deploying additional hardware to enterprise customers allowing direct, high-speed, point-to-point connections to their network using Gigabit Ethernet, Native LAN, and other service offerings. The equipment may be used in Time Warner Telecom's network to provide fiber relief through the use of DWDM.
