ATLANTA -- SkyStream Networks, the market leading provider of advanced video networking solutions, and Corecess Inc., a leader in IP-based DSL access solutions, announced today that the two companies have signed a co-marketing and sales alliance agreement to target the telco carrier market with a combined video over broadband solution.

The integrated platform, based on SkyStream's Mediaplex(TM) 20 Video Services Router and Corecess' 6800 Intelligent Access Server and 8100 VDSL remote DSLAM, offers telcos a comprehensive digital headend solution for more rapid and cost-effective deployment of video services over broadband. The SkyStream and Corecess integrated video over broadband solution will be on display in the Corecess booth #22755 at the Supercomm tradeshow in Atlanta from June 3-5.

SkyStream and Corecess' partnership is in response to a rapidly expanding video market, particularly in the Asian telecommunications industry. According to InStat/MDR, a leading market research firm, the telco video market is growing. By 2007, InStat/MDR expects there to be 19 million telco subscribers to video services, including broadcast TV or video on demand. The firm also predicts that worldwide telco video revenue will reach $5.8 billion (USD) by the same year.

The combined video over broadband solution from SkyStream and Corecess is proven and available immediately for deployment in telco networks.
