BaneTele will use RAD's access equipment to connect business users and provide communications between railway stations

RAD Data Communications has announced that Norway’s BaneTele will deploy a suite of RAD access solutions in 2003. BaneTele provides communications between railway stations and, through its acquisition of Enitel, the second largest alternative carrier in Norway, to business customers throughout the country as well. The products will be supplied by Data Equipment, an authorized RAD distributor in Norway. The RAD solutions will fully support signaling monitoring and video integration among train stations, a GSM network for internal railway use, provide GSM service in mountain regions and supply SHDSL services to business users, connecting them to BaneTele’s IP/MPLS backbone.
