MAYNARD, Mass. -- Proxilliant Systems Corp., which offers intelligent solutions essential to achieving the highest levels of reliability and profitability of cable networks, today announced that it will demonstrate an innovative solution for the delivery of the most reliable, highly available, carrier-class services over cable through the implementation of the Proxilliant Cable Access Management System (CAMS) at the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) Cable-Tec Expo in Orlando, June 19-22, 2007. The demonstration will be shown at the Proxilliant booth # 2470.

To highlight the CAMS’ benefits for Commercial Services applications, an integrated solution combining CAMS and ARRIS Touchstone® CSM571 Commercial Services Modems will be demonstrated. The ARRIS Touchstone CSM571 intelligently transports T1/E1 traffic, along with Ethernet data traffic, over DOCSIS. MSOs can provide Small to Medium Businesses with private leased line, PBX interconnects, toll bypass and data service using the ARRIS Touchstone CSM571 Commercial Services Modem and the Proxilliant CAMS system.

The Proxilliant CAMS system actively and continuously suppresses ingress close to its source deep in the network, accumulation of noise that would otherwise crowd out essential upstream capacity and degrade service quality and reliability of performance is prevented and bandwidth capacity is reclaimed.

Through the activation of CAMS, the overall RF performance of the HFC plant improves dramatically, meeting or exceeding required SLAs. The dramatic RF performance improvement is achieved through the CAMS continuous noise/ingress reduction and overall service health management, insuring highly reliable, two-way service delivery.
