MANILA -- Redback NetworksInc. (Nasdaq:RBAK - news), a leading provider of advanced broadbandnetworking solutions, today announced that Home Cable has selected theRedback® SMS(TM) subscriber management system to deploy broadbandservices in thePhilippines.Home Cable is the trade name of The Philippine Home Cable Holdings,Inc., an affiliate of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company(PLDT). RedbackNetworks will provide the SMS to support Home Cable's plans to rapidlyroll out broadband Internet and cable services to its over 100,000subscribers in MetroManila.
