YouTube Contest!

4:50 PM -- The Onion takes a stab at a fictitious YouTube Inc. video contest. The prize: $100,000. The only requirement for the winning video? "That it be somewhat watchable or provide even a shred of enjoyment for people other than those who made the video."

YouTube Contest Challenges Users To Make A 'Good' Video

Winning videos will be located through a new "Actually Good" tab on the YouTube Website.

re: YouTube Contest! LOL. $100K is a bargain price for original content, compared to actually licensing the not-paid-for, genuinely-interesting copyrighted fare that fills the YouTube universe.
