Good morning, cable gang. Here's a quick look at today's industry news.
AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) could see a backlash from subs as it starts to enforce usage caps on its broadband services, charging U-verse customers $10 for every 50 Gigabytes they consume above the 250GB ceiling. DSL customers will pay that if they exceed AT&T's monthly 150GB threshold. (See AT&T to Fit Subs With Broadband Caps .)
Dutch telecom company KPN Telecom NV (NYSE: KPN) will pick up an additional 158,000 homes through its acquisition of CAIW , the fourth-largest cable operator in Holland.
