Accessing YouTube at High Speed

11:55 AM -- Kids, remember that high-speed access to YouTube Inc. is intended to describe your broadband Internet connection.

The AP reports that a British teen posting a video of himself driving at 140 miles per hour on YouTube will face criminal charges.

The 19-year-old allegedly filmed himself in his Ford Escort, careening down the A76 single-carriageway road in southwest Scotland. The Dumfries and Galloway police department was not amused.

"This young man illustrated some completely foolish behavior," Sgt. Scott McLachlan said.

That describes both the automotive antics, as well as the decision to globally broadcast the footage. So much for that Mensa membership.

Additionally, the teen may face charges from the Ministry of Stupid Driving, which coincidentally, operates in the same department as Britain's Ministry of Silly Walks.
