AUSTIN, Texas -- Media Excel, Inc., a leading provider of Advanced Digital Video Content Adaptation for MobileTV, IPTV & WebTV, announced today that Hera 3200m will be featured at IBC 2007 in Amsterdam, September 7 – 11 at Media Excel’s booth 2.311.

The Hera 3200m was designed following customer’s feedback that a new video compression device was needed in the marketplace that would cover for the diverse needs of multiple broadcasting, video compression and network standards. Customers demand a highly capable and dense solution that goes way beyond the capability of a traditional encoder. To satisfy these needs, Media Excel leverage in-house embedded software and DSP hardware components, to produce 3200m, a transcoder that provides multi-codec, multi-rate inputs and outputs providing broadcast-level video quality and the ability to simultaneously stream video to multiple types of mobile devices, including mobile phones, PDAs and notebooks.
