HANOVER -- KEYMILE AG, a leading manufacturer of Next-Generation Access systems and Conklin-Intracom, supplier of future-proof content delivery platforms, are showing their visitors to this year's CeBIT how Triple Play will shape our future. Triple Play services will be presented in the joint showcase held by the two suppliers to telecommunications network operators.

Apart from telephony and high-speed Internet access applications, the showcase reveals how telecommunications networks can provide television in high quality with IPTV and video on demand via broadband IP networks to the subscriber. This provides an innovative integrated service package for the subscriber and completely new commercial packages for network operators and content providers.

During the demonstration, KEYMILE is using its new Multi-Service IP DSLAM MileGate 2500. MileGate implements Triple Play services in the access network by guaranteeing the subscriber is connected to fast ADSL2plus and VDSL2-lines at more than 20 Mbps and ensuring efficient transmission in the Access network. As a result, MileGate 2500 allows network operators to combine existing with new telecommunications services, such as for example IPTV (television via IP) or video on demand. The integrated Voice-Media-Gateway makes easy migration of existing telephone customers to VoIP-networks possible.

"We are glad to be partnering with a forward looking company such as KEYMILE in creating a solution that will meet and exceed future network needs. A robust and efficient Access Network combined with a flexible content delivery platform will ensure revenue creation opportunities to network operators for many years to come", said Ian Meletios, COO of Conklin-Intracom.

Conklin-Intracom is showing the Video Delivery and IP content system fs|cdn for Triple Play services. fs|cdn is a completely integrated software-based content delivery platform for IPTV, video on demand, VoIP and messaging services (SMS, MMS, Messenger). Using the fs|cdn system, providers of telecommunication services can offer a comprehensive and flexible range of Triple Play services.

"Our Triple Play showcase at this year's CeBIT demonstrates how service platform and access system perfectly interact to produce an ideal solution. With our partner Conklin-Intracom's content delivery system we're providing an impressive view of tomorrow's media environment that we'll supply to the subscriber with MileGate", said Heinrich Kreft, COO of KEYMILE.
