VANCOUVER and PHILADELPHIA -- At the SCTE's 20th Annual Cable-Tec Expo today, Incognito Software announced IP Commander Broadband Edition(tm) 4.2 - a high-performance, integrated DHCP, DNS, TFTP, and ToD provisioning solution for broadband service providers.

The new release delivers added security, more diagnostic tools, new DHCP functionality, and failover enhancements for advanced network management (see details below). In addition, IP Commander Broadband Edition 4.2 delivers enhanced, carrier-grade capabilities such as full DOCSIS and PacketCable support, complete redundancy of all device-provisioning services, and an extensive development API that allows for integration with subscriber activation and billing services.

"With release 4.2 of IP Commander, our customers were looking for additional security and diagnostic tools to successfully manage triple play services," said Stephane Bourque, CTO and Founder of Incognito Software. "We also implemented recent IETF RFC standards and Internet Drafts, ahead of any customer request, to maintain IP Commander's technical leadership."
