Ex-WorldCom CEO Ebbers starts his hard time

10:00 AM -- Bernie Ebbers, the ex-WorldCom chief who took down his company and nearly all of the telecom industry with an $11 billion accounting fraud, starts his 25-year prison sentence today, according to this AP story on the Business Week Website:Ex-WorldCom CEO to Start Sentence

Federal officials won't say where the former basketball coach, yacht salesman, and book cooker will serve his time, but the Associated Press reports it's likely near his home in Missisippi at either at either Yazoo City Federal Correctional Facility in Mississippi or the Oakdale Correctional Complex in Louisiana.
