SIP softphones and toolkits provider Xten Networks has joined the SIP Forum

BURNABY, BC -- Xten Networks, a leading provider of award-winning, high-quality SIP softphones and toolkits for IP Telephony networks, and the SIP Forum, the industry association for the advancement and development of Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), today announced that Xten has joined the SIP Forum organization. The SIP Forum now has 35 full members including representatives from service providers, equipment makers, software developers, and providers of software for operations support systems (OSS) and billing support system (BSS).

"The SIP Forum is very pleased to have Xten as its newest member. Xten is doing great things with SIP softphones and we look forward to their active participation in SIP Forum events, discussions and working groups," commented Edward Keegan, Managing Director, SIP Forum.
