Vyyo Promotes Fryling to SVP

NORCROSS, Ga. -- Vyyo Inc. (NASDAQ: VYYO), a supplier of broadband access equipment for cable system operators, announced today that Jeff Fryling has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, business development.

Fryling, who has established a reputation as an authority on the financial metrics of cable bandwidth technologies, will be responsible for working with strategic and technical partners, customers and internal Vyyo resources to create solutions that speed deployment of Vyyo’s UltraBand™ spectrum overlay platform.

“As trials and deployments of our UltraBand platform increase, there will be increasing possibilities for multi-company activities like the DOCSIS 3.0 trial we conducted with Motorola and StarHub,” said Wayne H.
