OPATIJA, Croatia -- With the latest broadband technology in optical and cable network, Vipnet sets world record with speeds of up to 4.3 Gb/s.

The data transmission demonstrated on the fixed network is 1000 times greater than the average in Croatian households.

These kinds of data transfer rates are achieved with the Eurodocsis 3.0 standard on the HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) network. The main advantage of this technology is the combination of multiple frequency blocks, by which the unit transfer rates per block are multiplied, thereby, achieving extraordinary results. EuroDOCSIS3.0 technology is an upgrade to the existing Vipnet or fixed network, which significantly accelerates implementation because it does not require any instalation work inside of homes or buildings.
