VeriWave appoints Rob Johnson, recently director of major accounts for Spirent Communications, as vice president of sales

PORTLAND, Ore. -- VeriWave, Inc., a leading provider ofperformance test equipmentfor wireless local area networks (WLANs), today announced it has hired Rob Johnson as vice president of sales. Mr. Johnson will work with WLAN chipset and equipment manufacturers who need repeatable and reliable test methods to increase and validate system performance. 

Mr. Johnson has over 14 years of experience in the sales and marketing of network test equipment. Most recently he was the director of major accounts for Spirent Communications, where he was responsible for coordinating the company's strategic relationship with Cisco Systems. He has also held key sales and marketing roles with Tekelec, GN Nettest, and ARGO Systems.
