RA'ANANA, Israel -- TraceSpanTM Communications, a provider of broadband monitoring solutions, today announced the release of the DSL XpertTM multi-layer analyzer. Leveraging patent-pending technology, DSL XpertTM breaks new ground as the industry’s only non-intrusive performance-analysis solution for ADSL and ADSL2 products. DSL XpertTM accelerates time to market and return on investment by cutting significant time from the development, deployment, debugging and interoperability verification of ADSL equipment.

DSL XpertTM is an easy-to-use modular tool designed for R&D and laboratory engineers engaged in the deployment of ADSL/ADSL2 standard-compliant solutions. The innovative DSL XpertTM analyzer verifies the interoperability of ADSL products offered by different vendors, and compares the performance of any combination of CO (central office) and customer-side modems. DSL XpertTM is a powerful solution for service providers (telcos and CLECS), current and next-generation ADSL equipment (e.g. DSLAM, DLC, modem,router/gateway) manufacturers, and technology and chipset developers.

“We are proud to announce the release of DSL XpertTM – our vendor-independent solution for ADSL interoperability testing,” said Dr. Hanan Herzberg, TraceSpan founder and CEO. “DSL XpertTM is a PC-controlled hardware solution with a user-friendly GUI that presents multi-layer information in convenient displays. Using DSL XpertTM, lab personnel can quickly and easily verify compliance to standards and performance of ADSL and ADSL2 products, leading to rapid system deployment.”

TraceSpan will demonstrate DSL XpertTM at SUPERCOMM in Atlanta, Georgia on June 3-5, 2003, booth #22512.
