Tiscali Picks InfoVista for SLA Control

Tiscali Business France selects an InfoVista solution to provide guaranteed quality of service for its business customers

PARIS and HERNDON, Va. -- InfoVista (NASDAQ: IVTA -- InfoVista (NASDAQ: IVTA - Nouveau Marché: FR0004031649), the leading global provider of Business Technology Intelligence (BTI) today announced that Tiscali Business France, part of Tiscali S.p.A, a leading pan-European provider of broadband access and managed services, selected and implemented the InfoVista solution to provide guaranteed quality of service for its business customers. Tiscali chose InfoVista as its standard performance management and service level management solution for its MPLS IP VPN Services.

Tiscali operates its own unique, state-of-the-art, national MPLS backbone and data centers; and provides broadband, VPN and hosting services to large and medium sized organizations. These services are backed by comprehensive Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The objective for the InfoVista solution is to demonstrate the real time performance of Tiscali's national network, and its compliance with Tiscali's business customers' SLAs.

The InfoVista solution was selected following a competitive evaluation. Tiscali chose InfoVista for its ease of use, real-time analysis capabilities and intuitive customer web portal. Tiscali is using the InfoVista solution to provide capacity planning, to troubleshoot and to provide customers with personalized, customizable, Tiscali-branded reporting tools that verify service levels and performance management.
