MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif -- TimesTen, Inc. today announced that dynamicsoft, Inc., a leading provider of SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)-based software solutions, has integrated the TimesTenR Real-Time Event Processing System into the dynamicsoft Service Engine. TimesTen's software will be used to manage real-time access to subscriber information in support of voice, messaging and presence-based services. TimesTen's easy-to-integrate standard interfaces and carrier-grade high-availability features were important factors in the selection.
The dynamicsoft Service Engine is a standards-based platform which gives mobile carriers the ability to deliver a full array of voice and data services over any "always-on" packet network, while providing a smooth migration path to all-IP 3G network environments. It supports differentiated services that bundle capabilities such as voice, multimedia messaging, instant messaging and presence. The Service Engine consolidates common functions such as customer data storage, authentication, authorization, provisioning and service interaction. This makes it possible to quickly create a wide variety of services with maximum re-use of assets and at minimal expense.
"Presence-based applications can only be valuable if the information is accurate and available in real-time, all the time," said John Trembley, director of telecom and networking at TimesTen, Inc. "With TimesTen, dynamicsoft is ensuring their customers' real-time communications needs, and is providing them with the ability to support millions of subscribers across multiple geographies - all without worrying about the network going down."
