HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- Telvita LLC (, a leader in developing and deploying Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) local and long distance telephony, launched its affordable, reliable, and easy-to-use Fidelio global VoIP telephone service.

The new Internet Telephone Service provides small and medium enterprise customers (SMEs) with private network and long distance service. Fidelio combines USB phones that plug into desktop and laptop computers - allowing their signals to be carried over the Internet! - with international long distance rates starting at less than 3 cents a minute.

"Until now, SMEs have been left out of the VoIP revolution because carriers and vendors have focused on Fortune 500 companies," says Matti Laserson, Telvita's CEO. "TelVita's mission is to provide SMEs with the same VoIP services Fortune 500 companies enjoy; like private networks, fast-access tele- conference hookups, reliable corporate voice communications, call recording, and e-voicemail, as well as the ability to collaborate (including desktop sharing) with remote offices."

Fidelio Internet telephone service includes a unique set of features oriented towards SMEs and mobile workers allowing them to improve their corporate, customer and vendor relationships through person-to- person voice and data contact.

"Telvita is all about providing 'solutions with a voice', and Fidelio is our way of delivering such solutions to SMEs," Laserson adds. "However, while our VoIP services are competitively priced, our emphasis is on encouraging business people to start talking to each other again. In an age of impersonal e-mail, nothing builds customer and vendor loyalty like real person-to- person communications - anybody can be one click away on the Fidelio network."
