STOCKHOLM -- TeleWare, the leading provider of intelligent business communication solutions to large and medium Enterprise and Service Providers, today announced that the intelligent eXchange (iX) product is now available to Service Providers for installation in their own premises and co-location facilities. The product was launched to enterprise in December 2004 and has been deployed in the TeleWare Hosted co-location facilities in London for the last four months.
Telecommunications costs within a business can represent as much as 27% of operating expenditure. The ability to communicate efficiently and cost effectively can determine the success of any business. For an on-premises implementation there are additional costs associated with the installation of IP telephony within the business. Additionally, the business will also need to maintain its own in house systems support team to manage the switch and associated hardware and software, adding to implementation and deployment costs. This solution, from TeleWare, provides a service rich IP Telephony hosted solution for service providers that they can offer to their end user customers on a monthly charge basis, avoiding CAPEX, establishing a known OPEX and providing solutions from a feature rich set of Telephony services, immediately.
