T-Mobile USA to optimize new GSM/GPRS wireless data services with Telephia's 'Wireless DNA' performance management suite

SAN FRANCISCO -- Telephia, Inc., the leading provider of marketing and service quality intelligence for the wireless industry, today announced that T-Mobile USA, Inc., is a customer of the Telephia Wireless Data Network and Application (Wireless DNA) performance management suite. T-Mobile USA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom AG (NYSE:DT). T-Mobile is one of several major North American wireless network operators to implement the Telephia wireless data testing solution on a national basis. Telephia's Wireless DNA service measures end-to-end, real-time performance (speed, variability, reliability) of WAP, SMS and other applications running over all major North American wireless networks. T-Mobile is using the solution to compare relative performance and monitor and optimize the performance of its 2.5-generation GPRS network, its WAP and text messaging products and its key wireless data application service providers and content partners.
